Pep Guradiola's final tilt at Champions League glory with Bayern Munich
is likely to bare fruit according to Bloomberg Sports who make the
German giants favourites to lift the trophy in Milan next month.
The
world leaders in sports analytic technology have calculated the
percentage probabilities for the remaining teams and ties in Europe's
leading club competition and make Bayern favourites to pip 10-time
champions Real Madrid in the final.
The
Bundesliga leaders have a 38.4 per cent chance of winning the Champions
League according to The Bloomberg Method of simulating results, while
Real are the second most likely to triumph in Milan at 31 per cent.

Manchester
City's hopes for a first Champions League title look slim at 11.3 per
cent, with Atletico Madrid third-favourites according to the data
analysts.
European giants Bayern and Real are overwhelming favourites to reach the final in Madrid according to the statisticians.
Despite
Pep Guardiola's side being the overall favourites, Los Blancos' route
is seen as the easiest with a 68.5 per cent chance of getting past
Manchester City, who will be led into their first Champions League
semi-final by Manuel Pellegrini on Tuesday night.
Wednesday's
semi is seen as slightly closer, though not by much, despite Atletico
removing most people's favourites for the tournament - holders Barcelona
- at the quarter-final stage.
Atletico have a 34 per cent chance of reaching the final in Milan on May 28 according to Bloomberg Sports.
A
repeat of the 2014 Champions League final between the two Madrid sides
is the second most likely final, followed by an arguably even more
mouth-watering clash between Guardiola and his employers for next season
City.
A
showdown between City and Atletico, which would see Sergio Aguero face
the club where he made his name, is the least likely to take place
according to the data analysts.
