Pep Guardiola will claim the Champions League in his final season at Bayern Munich

Pep Guardiola will claim the Champions League in his final season at Bayern Munich... But Manchester City won't make the final, according to Bloomberg Sports

Pep Guradiola's final tilt at Champions League glory with Bayern Munich is likely to bare fruit according to Bloomberg Sports who make the German giants favourites to lift the trophy in Milan next month.
The world leaders in sports analytic technology have calculated the percentage probabilities for the remaining teams and ties in Europe's leading club competition and make Bayern favourites to pip 10-time champions Real Madrid in the final.
The Bundesliga leaders have a 38.4 per cent chance of winning the Champions League according to The Bloomberg Method of simulating results, while Real are the second most likely to triumph in Milan at 31 per cent.

THE BLOOMBERG METHOD

Bloomberg power ratings and multiple data points from numerous seasons of every team are analysed.
Once this Bloomberg Sports rating is calculated using the data above, the remaining matches of the 2015-16 Champions League are simulated 100,000 times providing an accurate sample.
Goals for and goals against also taken into consideration.
Accuracy is tested against bookmaker odds, with strong results.
Manchester City's hopes for a first Champions League title look slim at 11.3 per cent, with Atletico Madrid third-favourites according to the data analysts.
European giants Bayern and Real are overwhelming favourites to reach the final in Madrid according to the statisticians.
Despite Pep Guardiola's side being the overall favourites, Los Blancos' route is seen as the easiest with a 68.5 per cent chance of getting past Manchester City, who will be led into their first Champions League semi-final by Manuel Pellegrini on Tuesday night.
Wednesday's semi is seen as slightly closer, though not by much, despite Atletico removing most people's favourites for the tournament - holders Barcelona - at the quarter-final stage.
Atletico have a 34 per cent chance of reaching the final in Milan on May 28 according to Bloomberg Sports.
A repeat of the 2014 Champions League final between the two Madrid sides is the second most likely final, followed by an arguably even more mouth-watering clash between Guardiola and his employers for next season City.
A showdown between City and Atletico, which would see Sergio Aguero face the club where he made his name, is the least likely to take place according to the data analysts.
